On that note, we are excited to share that MEA has launched a tutoring program for students who need additional academic support in the areas of English language arts and math. Aimed at bridging the learning gaps, this pull-out program offers up to four days of targeted instruction to the eligible students in small groups that is tailored to their individual needs.
MEA has for the first time introduced a fine arts program that offers weekly formal instruction in the area of visual arts. Engaging in fine arts can significantly benefit students academically. Studies show that participation in activities like visual arts can enhance cognitive abilities, including critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moreover, the discipline required in fine arts can contribute to improved focus and time management, translating into academic success. With the multifaceted potential benefits fine arts can bring we are confident that this program will help students across the board.
